You deserve to start your day feeling safe and motivated.

Unfortunately, talk therapy alone may not always be enough to resolve the deep-rooted effects of trauma, such as childhood abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, relationship issues, or other small or big traumas, such as job loss, divorce, or chronic illness, as it often requires more than just discussing it. As a team of EMDR-trained therapists, we are here to help you process and resolve memories and stressors that make daily life feel overwhelming.

Experience the Transformative Power of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

An evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals heal from trauma and emotional distress. Developed over three decades and supported by extensive research, EMDR is recognized worldwide as a leading treatment for PTSD, anxiety, and trauma.

Are you feeling stuck, trapped in repeating patterns, or overwhelmed by emotions that seem disproportionate to the situation?

Maybe you’ve tried therapy, self-help books, and personal development, but those old patterns keep coming back.

You may find yourself triggered, overwhelmed, or weighed down by unresolved pain from the past, holding you back from thriving in the present.

You may constantly feel you are not good enough, often criticizing yourself, as it is difficult to free yourself from the pattern of people-pleasing.

I get it—it’s frustrating, and I’m here to help. You deserve to live a life centred on joy, safety, and growth rather than survival and pain.

When you feel stuck or trapped in similar cycles, when you are consistently triggered by certain situations, it’s often a sign of unresolved trauma, past or current wounds, and the weight of past pain standing in the way of your growth.

What is EMDR Therapy?

EMDR is now one of the most well-researched psychotherapy treatments for trauma and has been found to be the most efficient of the well-established trauma treatments. It is particularly effective for addressing intense emotions, intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, and vivid images. Through EMDR, individuals can process and reframe distressing memories, allowing for emotional healing and relief.

How Does EMDR Work?

EMDR therapy helps activate your brain’s natural healing processes to resolve the emotional impact of traumatic events.

EMDR therapists use techniques such as bilateral stimulation (BLS) through eye movements, tapping, pulsars, sound, touch, or auditory beeps to engage both sides of the brain, helping the brain process these memories and overwhelming emotions.

Experts believe that engaging in bilateral stimulation, in the form of eye movements, tapping, or alternating sounds, while recalling a traumatic memory gives the brain a chance to properly process the memory and store it in the appropriate neural networks. Eventually, the traumatic memory becomes less upsetting and less intrusive in everyday life.
