With a culturally-sensitive, and person-centered approach, she works with clients to navigate anxiety, depression, burnout, self-esteem, explores strategies to improve confidence, emotional regulation, and cultural adjustment. She also works with clients who struggle with their self-worth by emphasizing the significance of self-love, decreasing social anxiety, constructing positive social bonds, and exploring new life transitions.
Approach & Modalities: Freshta prioritizes a non-directive, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment which enables clients to freely express their experiences, and concerns. She utilizes a multicultural framework to adapt strategies to satisfy the client’s concerns. Importantly, Freshta implements a range of modalities such as CBT, SFT, a person-centered approach, some narrative therapy, and DBT accordingly to work towards the client’s goals, and ensure that the therapy work is collaborative, effective, and positive.

Experience: Freshta is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Ontario, Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Women’s & Gender Studies, as well as a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology. Freshta offers therapy in English, and Farsi or Persian.
